Calgary Aquabelles Synchro Club
The Calgary Aquabelles Synchro Club, have a rich history of success in Synchro. Achieving excellence and world leadership in Synchronized swimming. The Calgary Aquabelles Synchro Club offers a variety of Recreational and Competitive Synchro Programs from September to June. (Summer Synchro Camps are available in July and August.) Calgary Balloon Club
An Interest in airships is what sparked the beginnings of the Calgary Balloon Club. In the early 1970's a handful of enthusiasts got together with the Intention of building and operating their own airship. This enthusiasm was soon channelled into Hot Air Balloons. With hard work and a lot of luck a sponsor was found and the club's first balloon was launched in 1973. The club has since progressed to the ownership and operation of many different balloons and has a membership of over 70.

Saracens Field Hockey Club Calgary
The Saracens field hockey club was formed in the early 1960s with Amby Gregg himself a prominent member and has been in existence continually ever since. The name Saracens may seem a little incongruous at first. The word Saracen is defined by Wikipedia as an Arab or a member of the Islamic faith. Although the league is has a strong international flavour, Saracens FHC have not generally been dominated by players of Arabic extraction. We believe that the Saracens FHC began associated with, and deriving their name from, the Saracens Athletic Club of Calgary a rugby club still going strong in Calgary. This club presumably derived their name from the older Saracens Rugby Club in England.

Seniors Alpine Ski Club
