The Guardian Condo – Beltline

The Guardian condo towers are situated in historical Victoria Park next door to, and on property formerly owned by the developers of the . Located just North of the Calgary Stampede,  The Guardian condo as at time of this writing is officially the tallest residential tower in the city of Calgary.

The Guardian condos are located at 1122 3rd Street SE (Tower 1 North) and 1188 3rd Street SE (Tower 2 South). There are mostly small one bedroom and some two-bedroom units in the Guardian condos ranging in size from 441 to 2619 square feet.  The towers stand 147 metres (482 feet) and 44-stories.

The Guardian condos offer breathtaking  views of Calgary and the Rocky Mountains from the abundant floor to ceiling windows evident in every unit.   The optimized floor plans and interior design creates effective spaces for urban lifestyles.

The Guardian condo incorporates imported Italian Armony Cucine kitchen cabinetry and professional-grade induction cooktops by AEG.

The Guardian North tower was the first of two nearly identical towers being constructed in The Guardian project.  The second tower was completed in 2016. The two towers together house 620 residential units.  The mixed-use podium will accommodate 6 floors of  parking, residential amenities, neighbourhood retail commercial units, and live-work units.

308 of the residential units are in the South Tower. The two Guardian condo towers are constructed of reinforced concrete and the exterior is clad with glass window walls and metal panels. The Guardian was designed by the global design and architecture firm IBI Group on behalf of Hon Towers Ltd.
