The Xenex Hi-Rise Condominium was built in 2008 and is located at 788 12th Ave SW, Calgary in the community of Connaught. It is registered on Condominium Plan #0910813 and is comprised of 303 condo units, 154 of which are living units and 153 are underground titled parking stalls. There are eight City Homes on the main floor and all floors have nine units except the first to third which hold eight, and the four penthouses on the 18th floor. There are crossover floors on the 4th, 8th 12th and 16th floors in case of fire.

The Xenex, by Bucci Developments is located right in the heart of Connaught just a block East of Safeway. There is a small confectionary across the street and a block West of the Nuvo Hotel. The suites are air conditioned, and many have balconies. Most of the homes in the Xenex are small one or two bedroom units with small closets and bright floor to ceiling windows.

The Xenex constructed with high specifications, and the lobby always seems clean and bright. There is a recycling room on the main floor as well as several storage rooms, both dedicated and shared.

There is a fascinating bronze sculpture by Alan Henderson celebrating the Xenex in front of the building. It was commissioned by Bucci and is named “Ten Figures in Motion with a Horse”. Go ahead and count them.

There isn’t a lot for amenities in the Xenex, but if you are looking for a well built downtown condominium in the city core at a reasonable price the Xenex is a good option.

Parking at the Xenex
Parking is heated underground on four levels. Most of the units come with a titled parking stall with the exception of the small studio apartments. There are five stalls reserved for a rental pool and several underground visitor parking stalls.
Xenex Restrictions
There are currently no age or pet restrictions at the Xenex.
Xenex Inclusions
Water is included in the monthly condominium fees. Gas and electric are paid by the unit holders.
